Interpart Supports Francis House Hospice
We’re proud to announce the latest in our long line of fundraising efforts for Francis House Children’s Hospice.
The drama of our live-streamed penalty shoot-out competition put this summer’s World Cup in the shade, as each Interpart team member represented a different country, with each goal scoring penalty resulting in a £25 charity donation for the hospice.
Richard Watson, Executive Director at Interpart, said:
“I thought it would be a good idea to have our own World Cup shootout represented by some of the alternative countries that were not in the competition, but are one of the many countries that we trade with.”
A tense final saw Romania and Mauritius go to head to head, with Mauritius eventually claiming the victory.
The knuckle-biting competition raised £675, meaning over £4,000 has been raised by Interpart to support the children, families and staff of Francis House.
The worldwide wholesale distributor has supported Francis House for a number of years through donations in lieu of customer Christmas cards, raising £4,000 since 2014.
“We like to support Francis House as they are a local charity who do excellent work,” added Richard.
The number of families the hospice supports recently exceeded 500 with approximately 2,000 people receiving respite care, homecare, sibling support, end of life care, emotional and bereavement support at any one time.
